Is my data really private?
Yes. Mawu makes no network requests at all. Everything you log is stored locally on your iPhone and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Can I back up or transfer my data?
Mawu data is included in your standard iOS device backup if you use iCloud Backup or back up to a computer, in the same way other app data is. You can also export all of your data as JSON or CSV from the app’s Settings screen at any time.
How do predictions work?
For your first few cycles, Mawu uses a default cycle length and clearly labels predictions as estimates. Once you’ve logged a few cycles, it switches to a rolling average of your actual cycle data, so accuracy improves over time. Predictions should never be used as a contraceptive method or for conception planning.
I logged the wrong date. How do I fix it?
Open the calendar, tap the day you want to change, and edit or delete the entry. Changes apply to all predictions immediately.
How do I delete all of my data?
Go to Settings inside the app and tap “Reset all data.” This permanently deletes everything you’ve logged. Deleting the app from your device also removes all of its data.
Does Mawu offer any subscriptions or in-app purchases?
No. Mawu is free, with no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads. Every feature is available to every user.
Is Mawu a medical device?
No. Mawu is a tracking and reflection tool. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. For medical questions, please consult a healthcare professional.
